Meet the Host

Hey! I’m Blaney!

My friends call me a "Serial Entrepreneur". My colleagues call me the "Networking Queen" and "Tech Guru". But first and foremost, I am a Mom who has a passion for business and helping others succeed.

Through the years, I have taken several of my passions and turned them into profitable businesses. And now it's my turn to help others do the same.

My vast business experience and background is what makes me the perfect host for this summit and why you will not be disappointed to join me on this journey! "This is not my first rodeo!"

My Story:

At age 7: I started on my entrepreneur journey, crocheting Christmas wreaths and selling them to the nuns at school.

At age 8: I hand-painted barrettes and sold them up and down the beach in Rehoboth, MD while on vacation with my family each year.

At age 10: I was crafting and manufacturing in my parents home Krystal Fabric Figurines and selling at local craft shows plus wholesale accounts around the state.

At age 20: Became a licensed Real Estate agent and New Home Consultant earning over 6 figures a year. Eventually transitioned to a Real Estate Settlement Officer.

In 2006: Got laid off from my 6 figure corporate job and was about to deliver my 2nd child in just 10 weeks.

2007: Founded from scratch The Wee-cycle Mart Kids Consignment Sales in Maryland. Hosted over 100 consignment sales in 11 years, selling over $500,000 a year in used kids stuff!

2017: Founded Maryland Business Connection where we host over 20 local in person networking events PER MONTH (pre-Covid), and now host 12 virtual networking events per month.

2019: Organized the "Next-Generation Business Networking Summit" in Baltimore MD with 8 speakers including Kait LeDonne and Marques Odgen and over 100 business professionals in attendance.

2020: Founded Next for Success (NEXT) and the NEXT Accelerator Academy.
